So, today I had a photoshoot with the awesomely pretty and pretty awesome Nat. Now it had been a while since I’d done any shoots aside from theatre headshots, let alone a shoot from the hip shoot, so I was expecting a bit of dodgy technique…
…I’m pretty disappointed in myself, actually. I’m not normally one to come down hard on myself for mistakes, but today was ridiculous. I had good ideas, Nat is a natural model (who required the leaast direction I have EVER given), but so many shots were lost for silly mistakes. The primary culprit being the CPL filter I’d put on my already patchy lens mucking up the focus >.< I should have spotted it MUCH earlier than I did. Mostly, the problems don’t show up in low-res, but the high-res shots are pretty woeful v_v
Still, I know Nat is a great model, hopefully she’ll know that I’m a good shooter to work with, and I have a cool location up my sleeve for future reference… heheheh…
I am very happy I already had another shoot, possibly two, lined up with Nat, though, so I’ll have a chance to redeem myself, even if just in my own eyes.
